Hello Fellow Washburn Lovers,

It looks identical to the Monterey (EA44) that I owned many years ago, right down to the Tobacco Sunburst finish ..... other than the Monterey being the thinner-body version.

I bought mine in mid-late 1980 and they had only been fairly recently release...

Welcome your year is probably wrong. Could that be a  S.I. 30701007? that would make more sense.    Tom. :)   The first one or two numbers are ALMOST always the year.  We no it is not a 2013 or a 1913.   could be 81 91 2001 .  83 93 2003?  Or anything ...

It could very well be S.I. Tom. Thanks; never thought of that with my old eyes. The year actually came from someone I had talked to at Washburn. Based on the serial he suggested it was 1997. But they don't have the records about it as the company has g...

There will likely be someone along that has a book and will be more able to help you more. This thread is only a day old. Have you went to Washburn.com? and look under  about,  then  history? It might tell you somthing.   Tom.   :)

Hi all,
I'm a new member, just created an account for asking you guys a few questions.

I'm interested in the EA14ATB model and I'd like to know how thick is the body. Is it a thin body?

Thank you very much!

Welcome. I can not say for sure on this one . But almost all EA are thinner than Dread's. Search EA on the search link above you might find there what you want to know.  Tom.   :)

Well I just Googled it and from all the pictures it looks like a normal sized EA..  So unless someone knows different I would say it is a thin body.  The search was not helpful here. If you get one, it would be nice to describe it here for future searc...

Thank you Tom,
I wonder how thick is the body of a normal sized EA?
Right now I'm looking to buy one from a store in Canada. None has them in stock.

The EA20 SDL is a very nice stage guitar.  I had an earlier, all lam version with the Equis II electronics.  Bit subdued as an acoustic but very nice amped up.  FWIW the sellers comment re: solid wood is not correct.  It's a solid top and lam back and ...

I would really like the EA, but the price on the D10S is crazy to me, plus I have 6 of them now.   I have been looking for a nice EA for a year or so now. I will make a decent offer the last day if it is not sold. Does any one with a book no the real v...

I think maintenance would be the same I really worry most about cracking. I see a few of the guitars on here being talked about cleats and crack repair.  Before I knew better back in 08, I bought a all lam Indiana guitar, and left it in its case a year...
