Nice pictures.  Well done.  Very handsome Washie.  FWIW, the pickguard is very likely not original.  Did you add that or di you buy it that way?  Has little to no effect on value.

I used to have a EA20 with the same chicklet style saddle.  I replaced t...

Thanks, I quite like the look of her too...!

You're right about the pickguard. I fitted it myself, just after I bought it new. When I saw the guitar for sale 20 years later, that's how I knew it was mine.

Interesting point about the saddle. I've just h...

Ok, thanks again for your help. I'll give that some thought.

Many times the serial number carries a suffix indicating the country of origin...can you post a photo of the factory label?

Cheers!!

Generally, when acoustic guitars are assembled on a production line, they build a body onto a neck assembly. That is to say, the necks are built before the guitar is finished, hence two dates.

I am wondering what this guitar is worth... is e-bay a good way to sell it?  There is prior damage (fret board was snapped off and professionally repaired 20 years ago).

In excellent condition, these go for $500.00 to $600.00 with original hard-shell case and paper work ....(no issues).  Damage, as you describe, usually kills resale value, especially if the repair is noticeable.

Here's an EA-27 K Gregg Allman S...
